First Week – Wow!

This has definitely been an exciting week for me at Sonoma Partners.  I joined the company on Monday and have been heads down getting to know everyone and working with the sales team.  I am very excited about my decision to join Sonoma and look forward to the months and years ahead!

I am based out of Minneapolis, MN, focused on building Sonoma’s Microsoft Dynamics CRM sales team across the United States.  In my first week we have posted 3 sales positions, welcomed back one of our account executives from maternity leave, and made introductions to some of the new Microsoft field reps across the country.  Next week we will be International – I will let Kara spill the beans on that one.

The CRM business continues to flourish across the country.  xRM is the latest buzz (have you seen the latest video?).  Our Franchisor vertical is gaining lots of traction.  The Sonoma development team created a wicked Enterprise 2.0 application for internal social networking (awesome internal communication tool and of course integrated to Dynamics CRM).  Oh, and the Sonoma Fantasy Football Draft is set for Monday afternoon (should I or shouldn’t I draft Favre … what do you think Josh?).
