Were we the first to upgrade?

We just finished our Microsoft CRM 3.0 RTM upgrade from Microsoft CRM 1.2! The process went smooth as silk, and everything is running great. Can we claim to be the first company in the world to upgrade from CRM 1.2 to CRM 3.0 using the RTM build? Yes, I think we just might be the first...

Thankfully, we ran the CRM Upgrade Advisor before attempting to upgrade and it pointed out a few things we needed to correct before the upgrade (SQL SP4, etc.). We took screenshots of the Advisor and we'll post those later.

Here's the official Microsoft CRM 3.0 RTM build number if you are curious: CRM 3.0.5300.0. It is only 5 build revisions higher than the EAP build number of CRM 3.0.5295.0.

  1. I think you came in as close as we did today.
Only we ran into a support incident with the message: The triggers in the Crm database are not consistent with Crm 1.2 triggers at the validation process, while there are no triggers added in the database using Crm 1.2.

    Any suggestions?

  2. Well our experience was nothing short of a disaster, have had multiple issue starting with the PID key MS sent out being incorrect. Also had Issues with Web site http headers, CRM and Report Services appear only work on a default web site with default http headers. Guess no one at MS thought of installing CRM on sites that had other websites for running Exchange, SharePoint or ReportingServices

The last issue (hopefully) is that the V1.2 database won't upgrade. I get this error:

"Upgrade has found some mal-formed XML Saved Queries from your Microsoft CRM 1.2 installation."

If it would only tell me which ones...

    Any Ideas??? Please...
